Why a site in English about a Swiss railway line?

For better or worse, English is the primary language of the Internet - and conveniently also happens to be my native language.

Using English to describe the technological marvel exemplified by SBB's line between Killwangen and Altstetten ensures that the largest possible number of readers throughout the world will have a chance to learn something more about what Switzerland has achieved in this domain.
