Glanzenberg station

Glanzenberg station was opened in 2000. It serves the neighborhoods between Schlieren and Dietikon. Both the S3 and S12 suburban (S-Bahn) trains stop there.

Normally, the suburban trains stop on one of the two southernmost tracks, but the central platform also allows exchange of passengers on what is normally the inbound express track. This gives SBB dispatchers extra flexibility in case of abnormal operations.
